Rollback is the wave these days and it seems that companies are putting in the extra time needed to get it working right. SNK tweeted out yesterday that the upcoming implementation of rollback netcode into 2019’s Samurai Shodown will need more time after the results of the 1st community beta test, and is expected to release in late Summer of this year. That timeframe runs until just about the end of September.

Additionally, the second community beta test will be conducted in July. These tests have been exclusively on Steam, but the full release will hit all consoles barring Switch. Here’s the statement:
